A Little About Us

Arpana born with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion to make a change in our society has led her to create a platform to assist other entrepreneurs in their business journey whilst giving back to the community at the same time.
Her own journey was not a simple one. A single mum of 2 boys had to create her own path to financial freedom and enough flexibity to fulfill her parental role. And therefore, she understands the struggle and challenges of running a small business in Australia.
Arpana always dedicated her success to having the right education and skill set to create a sustainable living for herself and kids.
And now this has driven her on a new journey to create that same opportunity for every child in Australia by supporting Children and Women Charities.
Knowledge Assist is a new venture manily created so that all the profits are donated from the educational platform to transform our children’s lives while also helping small businesses.
Knowledge Assist membership is 100% tax deductible and you can claim a GST input tax credit if you are registered for GST.

Arpana Patel CEO / Tax Adviser

The founder of Knowledge Assist and two national award winner, Arpana has an extensive knowledge in Australian tax laws.

She also owns her own accounting practice; AveSol Accounting Services in Melbourne, assisting overwhelmed and frustrated small business owners to get on top of they paperwork.

Arpana is very passionate about supporting small business owners through accounting, taxation, bookkeeping, business advice, and financial coaching – whilst contributing back to Australian society. With over 20 years of experience, she can assist in all areas of business.

Heena Kalyan Senior Bookkeeper

Heena works closely with small business owners to provide an analytical view on management accounts and assist them with daily bookkeeping. Her insights assist business owners to make efficient and effective business decisions.

She is highly skilled in Xero, MYOB and Quick Books accounting packages and provides onsite or offsite training to small business owners. Heena will be teaching tips and tricks for better management of your bookkeeping software plus Financial literacy (how to read your P&L). She would also be running classes on GST, Payroll and Cost management strategies.
